Frequently Asked Questions

Events

• Have 3 states OPEN, CLOSED, FINISHED

• Bets can only be made on OPEN events

• Once the event starts, its status becomes CLOSED and no more new bets can be made

• After the event ends its status changes to FINISHED and the eligible participants can claim winnings in “Claim Winnings” tab. Betonomics events become FINISHED after 48 hours of being CLOSED, given that there are enough arbiter votes to reslove the event. All other matches become FINISHED ~15 minutes after the match ends.

Betonomics Event

• Can be created by any user only on MUMBAI chain in Your Events tab

• Can be edited by the creator of an event or a moderator. Editing is allowed only before any bets have been made on the event

• Bet from any supported chain can be accepted on any Betonomics event that is not CLOSED

• Any Betonomics Event that becomes CLOSED is elegible for arbitering

Arbiter Event

• Can be arbitered by any arbiter only on MUMBAI chain

• Arbiters get their reward in the form of all tokens that were bet on the event

• After becoming CLOSED any event elegible for arbitering is available for 48 hours, after which it becomes FINISHED and the reawards are sent out

• Any Betonomics Event that had no user bets on it is automatically FINISHED after becoming CLOSED

Bets

• Maximum of 1 bet per match, regardless of the chain

• Bet minimum value is 5$ and 10,000,000$ is the maximum

• Bets are made by choosing a predicted event outcome and entering a desired bet value in a form field

• After the bet is made and confirmed by the corresponding chain it will show in “Your Bets” tab

• Making a bet on the match after it has begun is not allowed by the platform and any attempts of it are considered tampering with the results. In this case the bet will be put in a special pool outside of the main pool. Such bets can be reclaimed using Claim Winnings page. Standard 8% comission will be deducted in the process.

Winnings

• Eligible users can claim their winnings on a separate tab “Claim Winnings”

• Winnings are claimed separately on each chain by clicking “Claim” button

• Total amount of unclaimed winnings is shown at the top of “Claim Winnings” tab

Fees

• Master Better takes 8% commission when the winnings are being claimed on any chain

• Master Better does not take any top-up commission

Networks Supported

• All EVM-compatible networks are allowed on the platform

• Only networks that fit the stability and liquidity criteria get officially supported, this is made to protect the interests of the users
